GRAND PRIZE
BEARBATFRANKENSTEIN by Shaun M Radecki
When a hapless mad scientist’s latest creation turns out to be another epic failure, the mellow monster-gone-wrong boldly sets out to prove him wrong.
Shaun Radecki writes stories for the young and young at heart. Often inspired by the unseen and overlooked, his work has had the honor of being read by the likes of DreamWorks and several Oscar-nominated directors. When he isn’t daydreaming about things like secret-agent scuba pigs and medieval caterpillars on trial, Shaun enjoys podcasts, picture books and drawing with his twin daughters, who he’s only confused on one occasion (that he’s willing to admit).

1ST PRIZE
HONOUR BOUND by Omri Rose
The dishonoured knight Roger Godberd leads a band of warriors on a quest to rescue the peasants he once sworn to protect, his deeds inspiring a legend.
A lover of history, great characters, and gripping stories, Omri is an award-winning screenwriter and script doctor who grew up in Nigeria, Switzerland, Israel, Kenya, and The Netherlands. He began his career in the film industry in London, where he worked for several years before taking the leap across the pond to Los Angeles. Outside film, Omri has written for numerous video games, several podcast series, and has published a number of short stories.
2ND PRIZE
AMBERGRIS by Jacobo Fe Gismera
In WWII, after crashing in the Sahara Desert, an RAF pilot meets a Tuareg. Regardless of their cultural differences, the bold British and the cryptic Bedouin join forces to traverse a harsh land in search of the weirdest and most valuable substance on earth: whale poop.
Jacobo Fe Gismera is an L.A.-based multi-award-winning writer and fashion model. At 19, he became the youngest Spanish novelist in the historical genre after publishing "Perfectus Imperator" and also launched his prolific modeling career, resulting in hundreds of international publications with fashion brands.
Jacobo, who has Spanish and French citizenship, was granted an O-1 visa in the US for "extraordinary artistic abilities." His dramedies have received over 150 international recognitions from entities like The Academy Nicholl Fellowship, Sundance Institute, Script2comic, WeScreenplay, SRFA-Cannes, SPARK, Screencraft, Launch Pad, or Final Draft-Big Break. He has participated in Banijay Cannes Incubator and NALIP Content Creators, been a finalist for Lena Waithe's Hillman Lab and Roadmap x Husslup, and appeared in Forbes, Variety, and the Hollywood Reporter.

3RD PRIZE
Faux by Graham Nelson
When a murderous shapeshifting abomination infiltrates the alpine getaway of a hostile housewives reality show, the newest cast member must discover who is real and who is fake before it's too late.
Graham Nelson is a writer, producer, and creative director whose clients include Netflix, YouTube, Sony Music, and Vox Media. Born in Virginia but raised in Tokyo, Japan, and possessing a law degree he never uses, Graham naturally writes about outsiders, burnouts, and misfits. He lives in Manhattan with his girlfriend, their rescue dog, and an embarrassingly large collection of action figures.
